If you're a wine lover and looking for something a little different then Suvereto is for you. A lesser known place with excellent wines. It is a similar area to the well-known Bolgheri wines but has yet to be completely discovered and is just as beautiful if not more than its famous neighbour. The wines are of the quality as the Bolgheri wines. This off the beaten track area is well worth a visit. We recommend an early start with stops at two cellars, and having lunch at one of them, plus a stop at San Galgano Abbey and the pretty town of Massa Marittima.This is recommended mostly to those staying near Siena.
